A quick protein snack. 23g protein. 2g fat. Not the "healthiest" but it will do for a quick meal if you're in a rush! Save your muscles!

This is the protein I recommend. Optimum nutrition gold standard whey. Please get either the double chocolate or vanilla ice cream flavor because they have the least amount of sweetner.

I take back that last post. Dan's new pr is 600lbs for 20 reps!

My new client Dan setting a personal record on legpress. 450lbs for 20 easy reps!

Here I am in post halloween party shape, 206lbs and 13.6 percent bodyfat. Still recovering from my broken rib but I try to do light cardio and not eat to much junk.

I think a lot of people forget that they need to eat more to gain muscle. They often end up staying the same size for a long time, these are usually the same people who are afraid to gain weight during a bulk. I myself am guilty of being like this in the past. I once heard a bodybuilder say something about this that made a lot of sense. He said, " It's hard to GROW your body while staying the same size."

You probably think homeless people don't workout, but you're wrong. I was shocked when I met Andrew, a 60 year old homeless veteran who served in Vietnam. I saw this guy pumping up next to a Chinese restaurant in the middle of the day. He says he does 2 sets of push-ups twice a day to build and maintain his strength. Just goes to show no matter what your age or living situation you can still get your exercise in.

My client Scott used to be one of the weakest people in the gym, now weighing 149lbs he happily loads up the T-Bar row with weight I would use! He easily did 10 reps with this. And btw there's another 10lb plate behind that 45 that you can't see.

Does it work?

Does it work, or does it not work? That's a good question to ask yourself when working out on your own or following someone else's workout routine. Well the answer is simple. Did you get where you wanted to go? Did you even get results? Lol. And if you didn't keep track of your workouts... how can you even tell? Lol. Well there's an answer, If you go back to old workouts you used to do and you can beat them with weight and reps then yes your shit worked. Plain and simple. However, did you moniter your weight and bodyfat? Hmm, if not just think back to your worst weight or think back to your best weight. Compare that to where you are now. At that chosen weight were you as fit as you are now? If you're stronger and leaner now, you are better now. Keep your body fat down and your lifts up, if you can keep increasing the weight you can do and/or your bodyfat keeps going down then it's working.

Training Review - K. Doyle

I worked out with Brandon for a solid 6 months, 3 x week.   I was coming up on my 52nd b-day and I'd gotten into that "corporate routine".  It showed: soft, out of shape, no energy.  We spoke on the phone, met up for an evaluation and talked about my goals.  He came up with a plan and a time frame.   We knocked a 34 waist back down to a real 30..  and added 8-10 lbs of lean muscle, it was all good.  He really listened and didn't cut me any slack - I appreciate the fact he didn't buy into my "excuses".   There's not a lot of chit-chat going on -- you're there to meet your goals and he's a serious guy.  Good, hard, workouts.. and always pushing.   I've had many trainers over the years, done the boot-camp intensives.  Brandon is up there with the best.  He understand the way you look is a reflection of his knowledge.

Fwd: Training

Brandon,

I would like to thank you for all you have done to help me getting fit.  You have been a great motivator for me, a lot of that has been your encouraging personality.  I like the way you plan for each muscle building session.  Your extensive knowledge of how to best work out for each muscle. You knowing the anatomy of muscle building is outstanding!  I also want to thank you for encouraging me to have a good eating regime.

Thank you again,

Robert Avila

My Review

I've been training with Brandon for more than one year and he has made a significantly positive impact on my life. Not only have I gained strength and muscle, I have lost weight and gained confidence. On top of all this, Brandon makes our workouts fun and enjoyable too!

In addition to his knowledge of fitness and exercise, his understanding of nutrition has been a big added bonus for me.

He makes me accountable for my actions and I believe everyone has something to gain from training with Brandon!
