Heres how it works. After a good weightraining session your muscle fibers have been broken down, you need to give it nutrients to repair them. Last thing you want to do is fall asleep for 10hours without eating. By the time you wake up you probably lost muscle mass. So feed those motherfuckers. But that doesnt mean leave the gym and imediately cram down 2 chicken breasts and a tupperware of brown rice while you are still fucking pumped, lol. If youre somehardcore bodybuilder, sure you can slam that protein shake right after with fucking maltodetrixin. But for the normal guy you are going to be ok not eating for 30min to an hour, just dont go over 1 hour. I mean sometimes its nearly impossible to eat right after a good workout. Youre pumped, adrenaline is still flowing, you need some time to relax.
