Guys and girls if your focus is to lose body fat, don't expect to gain muscle at the same time, it's probably not going to happen unless you're a beginner. However, you can make strength gains while losing fat. And if your focus is to gain muscle, don't expect your bodyfat to not go up, because it's most likely going to go up if you are eating correctly for muscle gain. (This is all assuming you dont take steroids.)
